Frequently Asked Questions

Events FAQs

On this page you will find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about events at Up-Down.  Click on the questions below to reveal the answer.

Can I have my event at Up-Down?
First, we need to know a little bit more about your event before we give you a definite answer.  We try our best to accommodate groups.  The best way to get a definitive answer is by contacting us with the specifics of your event.
Do you have a private room for parties?
No.  We decided to focus on adding more games and more fun throughout the building.
Can we reserve a table?
Since we have very limited seating, we do not reserve tables.  This typically does not cause a problem though since most of our guests spend a majority of their time moving around and interacting with the games.  Our seating is generally sufficient for when people need a break as long as we don’t have empty tables blocked off for people who aren’t using them.
Can I run a tab for all my guests?
Yes.  We offer open bar, cash bar, and drink ticket options.
What is the minimum age for members of my group?
We are 21 and over at all times.
Do you have any A/V capacities?
We do have some.  Let us know what you will need by contacting us and we will let you know how we can accommodate you.
Can I rent Up-Down for a private party?
We do offer the option of renting Up-Down during hours we are not open to the public.  This generally occurs prior to 3pm Monday through Friday.
How many people does Up-Down hold?
We can accommodate groups of up to 200 people.
Do you have any specials for birthdays?
We always offer 40 free tokens to someone coming in on their birthday.
Can I bring my own food?

Our license with the Health Department does not allow for outside food.  We do offer delicious pizza and will work with your group to accommodate any particular requirements.

Can I bring a birthday cake?

We tend to make exceptions for birthday cakes.  You will need to bring all of the serving implements, plates, and napkins to go with your cake.
